First Act has unveiled the 222 by First Act line of musical instruments in an exclusive partnership with Adam Levine, lead vocalist and guitarist for multi-platinum Grammy winning pop band Maroon 5. Comprised of twenty-two separate musical products, 222 by First Act is the biggest line of signature musical products ever created for mass retail. This comprehensive musical line, created specifically in conjunction with Levine, is a first for the lifestyle music brand.

"I partnered with First Act because they're all about making it easier to play music," says Levine. "They're all for that, and I'm all for that -- and I think that's a wonderful thing. Together we came up with a series to inspire new players and named it after my lucky number -- 222."

Barack Obama's presidential campaign, which has inspired a multitude of songs by stars and amateurs alike, is now getting an official soundtrack.

"Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement," which takes its title from an Obama campaign slogan, features Adam Levine, Kanye West, John Legend, Sheryl Crow, Stevie Wonder and others. It will be available for sale exclusively through Obama's campaign starting Friday - September 19th.

Proceeds from the CD ($24.99 for a digital download, $30 for a physical product) will help fund Obama's campaign until Nov. 4, Election Day, according Hidden Beach Recordings, which created the CD.

Live Nation regretfully announces the Maroon 5 / Counting Crows performance scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 26 at Blossom Music Center has been cancelled due to routing issues. Tickets purchased via phone or internet (which includes fan club tickets) will have their account automatically credited. Idol Gives Back

Ellen DeGeneres will make an encore appearance with Ryan Seacrest as co-host of "Idol Gives Back," when the fundraiser airs on Wednesday, April 9, beginning at 7:30 p.m. on FOX.

Maroon 5, Gloria Estefan, Boys II Men and The Clark Brothers will join the previously announced musical performers. Money raised by the special will be donated to the Children's Defense Fund, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Make It Right, Malaria No More and Save The Children.

Previously announced celebs taking part include Bono, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Fergie, Chris Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Annie Lennox, John Legend and Snoop Dogg.

New Zealand Cancelled

Due to a schedule conflict involving a charity performance, Maroon 5 have been forced to cancel their April 6th concert at the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. The band sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and wants to assure their fans that a rescheduled visit to New Zealand will be a priority at the earliest opportunity. The band apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused.

Grammy win!

Maroon 5 have added to their gold reserves with a Grammy win for "Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals" for their blockbuster hit "Makes Me Wonder." The chart-topping single was the lead track from the band's multiplatinum-selling new album It Won't Be Soon Before Long, which entered Billboard's Top 200 Albums Chart at No. 1.

MAROON 5 has added a second & final show at the Fillmore Auditorium on Tuesday October 30. Special Guests The Hives and Kevin Michael will open the show.

Showtime is 7:30 PM. Doors open at 6:00 PM.

The Monday - October 28th Denver, CO show has changed venues to the Fillmore Auditorium.

Salt Lake City UT and Portland OR shows cancelled

Live Nation announced today the cancellation of Maroon 5's October 30th show at Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City and their November 2nd show in Portland OR at Portland Memorial Coliseum due to scheduling conflicts. Refunds are available at point of purchase. Fan club tickets will be automatically refunded and members do not need to contact the Maroon 5 S.I.N. Club.

Hi everyone. Jesse here up in Toronto. It's a beautiful day and I'm writing this message on my cell phone... sitting on a bench in the middle of downtown. I hope you're all feeling well today.

So, here's the deal. We want your help with a video we're making for the song "Won't Go Home Without You." We're asking for video footage of you with the loves of your life. Friends, Lovers, Family, Pets, Musical Instruments... You name it. Whatever and whomever you love, we want to include footage of it in our video.

This is going to be a tribute to you and your life stories wherever they're happening around the world. Got any home videos of us in concert? Send em in too. We'll accept any format, although mini DV tapes are preferred. So be creative, have fun, and spread the love. Thanks a lot.

European Tour Changes

Maroon 5 regret to announce that due to a scheduling conflict they must cut their European tour short. In order to facilitate this, the band's 2007 touring calendar has been revised. This revision includes the following changes:

12/07/07 - Paris
12/12/07 - Hamburg
12/14/07 - Vienna
12/17/07 - Zurich
12/20/07 - Stuttgart
12/21/07 - Frankfurt

Management is currently working on securing 2008 dates in the above markets and will announce them as soon as they are confirmed. Ticket refunds are available at point of purchase.

Moved Shows:
Dusseldorf has been moved to: 12/13/07
Milan has been moved to: 12/16/07

If you have purchased tickets for these shows, your tickets will automatically be honored for the new dates. No additional action is required.

Maroon 5 recently wrapped the video for their highly anticipated second single, "Wake Up Call" shot throughout Los Angeles.

The video will premier as a "First Look" on MTV's TRL Tuesday - July 31st. TRL airs at 1:00pm EST.

REMINDER - Miami Studio A Make Up Show Information: Tues 7/11 @ 3:00 PM

In order to give fans the best possible experience for both The Police and the Miami club show, the Maroon 5 show at Studio A has been rescheduled for Wednesday, July 11 at 3:00pm. Maroon5 will offer fans a rare and intimate acoustic performance. All original ticket holders will receive a refund for their tickets at point-of-purchase and will receive entrance into the show. Those who purchased tickets at the box office may turn their tickets in for a cash refund from now until July 11, 2007, if they are unable to attend. All fans who purchased tickets from the box office and will be attending must hold onto their tickets in order to gain entry to the show and will be given a cash refund prior to their entrance into the venue. All people who purchased tickets via the web may receive their refund prior to the show and will receive entry into the venue since their name will appear on the ticket provider's will call list as an original ticket holder. Maroon 5 Fall 2007 U.S. Tour Announcement!

Maroon 5 has announced plans for their 2007 "It Won't Be Soon Before Long" world tour, hitting 28 North American cities, with special guest The Hives, beginning September 29th in Detroit and concluding November 10th in Las Vegas. The band is partnering with climate change organization Global Cool in order to make the massive production "carbon neutral."

The Hives will be joining on all of the dates. Sara Bareillies will be opening in Detroit through Philadelphia, Kevin Michael in Boston through Salt Lake City and Phantom Planet join up for Portland through Las Vegas.
